Let me tell you, hunting down flight deals from PHL has become my weird hobby lately. After spending way too many hours searching routes (and definitely too much coffee), I’ve uncovered some seriously amazing destinations that won’t empty your bank account. Last month, I snagged a ticket to Nashville that cost less than a weekend in the city and spent my mornings exploring the incredible food scene around East Nashville.

I’ve tracked down some of the best places to fly from Philadelphia that’ll actually leave you with money to spend when you land. From Boston, where I loved wandering through the historic streets of Beacon Hill between lobster roll stops, to direct flights down to Miami, these 7 destinations prove you don’t need to trek to Newark or JFK for awesome travel deals. Let’s dive in.

My #1 tip for finding the cheapest places to fly from Philadelphia

The secret to cheap flights from Philly is Going (formerly Scott’s Cheap Flights). It has saved me thousands over the years. Here’s how it all works.

Before you book anything, don’t miss these deals 👇

You just sign up for a free account with Going and input your point of origin and where you want to go. Once Going has all that information, it will start sending you free email alerts. Those emails will have tons of cheap flights that correspond to your intended routes. The flights from Going are mistake fares and other heavily discounted ticket prices. Trust me, you’ll be shocked at how inexpensively you can get from place to place. I recently got a cheap flight from Philadelphia to Atlanta for under $50. That’s an insanely good deal.

If you really want to start cashing in on the deals, Going has a premium version. The $49/year upgrade gives you more flights more often. That way, you can get on those tickets before anyone else can. The premium version of Going will likely be best for those who travel most frequently and just can’t afford to wait on these prices.

In the last few years, Going has cumulatively saved me thousands of dollars on flights. If you’re looking for the cheapest flights from Philadelphia, this service will be your best bet.
